MURDER

Police are investigating the shooting and death of Jeffery Martindale Kelly which occurred on 8.03.10 at 7:10pm. Police arrived at the scene on the corner of Prince Street and East Canal, Belize City where the lifeless body of Jeffery Martindale Kelly, of an East Canal address, had several gunshot wounds to the head. The body was transported to the K.H.M.H where it was pounced dead on arrival. Initial investigation revealed that at 7:00pm, Jeffery Martindale Kelly was at the store waiting for service, when a male person on a bicycle rode up to him, took out a firearm and fired several shot at him causing the fatal injuries. At the scene investigators collected seven 9 mm expended shells. The body awaits a postmortem examination and Police are trying to establish the motive of the brutal murder.   

RE- MISSING PERSON

Reference missing person report made by Jose Chacon made on the 7.03.10, on 8.03.10 Graciela Liliana Chacon returned home in good health and reported that she left home on her own free will and was at a friends home in Ontario Village Cayo District.
