BELIZE DISTRICT

DRUG TRAFFICKING

At 11:00am on 4th June 2014, police were conducting patrol on Holy Emmanuel Street, Belize City, when they apprehended Kareem SMITH and two black plastic bags containing a total of 202 grams of suspected cannabis. While police were escorting Smith to the mobile, he made good his escape by running into a nearby yard and jumping over a fence. Police are looking for SMITH pending charges of Drug Trafficking and Escape. 
 
FOUND PROPERTY

At 7:20pm on 5th June 2014, police conducted a search in an empty lot on Holy Emmanuel Street, Belize City, which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing (10) 9mm live rounds. No one was found in the area and the items were deposited as found property.
 
BELMOPAN CITY

DRUG TRAFFICKING

At 7:15am on 5th June 2014, police conducted a search at the residence of Marvin BARRERA, 36 year old Belizean Laborer of Belmopan City which led to the discovery of a black plastic bag containing 114.1 grams of suspected cannabis. He has since been arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking.
 
FOUND PROPERTY

At 8:30am on 5th June 2014, police conducted a search in an empty lot in Roaring Creek Village, Cayo District, which led to the discovery of 63.8 grams of suspected cannabis.  No one was found in the area and the drugs were deposited a found property. 

SAN IGNACIO TOWN

DRUG TRAFFICKING

At 12:10pm on 5th June 2014, police conducted a search at 6th Street, San Ignacio Town, which led to the discovery of a blue container containing 260.2 grams of suspected cannabis, an orange container containing 235.8grams of suspected cannabis and a black plastic bag containing 192.8grams of suspected cannabis. All drugs found amounted to a total of 688.8 grams. Present at the time of the search were William RALDA, 22 year old Belizean Construction Worker; Martha Alicia RALDA, 46 year old Belizean Domestic; Virginia ARCHILLA, 78 year old Belizean; and a 17 year old minor. Two persons have since been detained pending charged.
 

TOLEDO DISTRICT

INCEST

A 16 year old Belizean Domestic of Aguacate Village, Toledo District, visited the station in the company of her sister and reported that sometime in the month of September, 2013, her father had sexual intercourse with her.  A medical examination was conducted on the minor where the doctor certified that she is carnally known and is about 8 months 3 weeks pregnant. Police are looking for the father, pending investigations.
